"The Assessor’s office will not be my office; it will belong to the people..."
  - Travis Roberts

    As Assessor

If you trust me with this office and I’m elected as the Assessor of Property, this is what kind of service and treatment you can expect.

I will keep the current staff in place.

I and the staff will treat everyone with courtesy, dignity, and respect all the time.

I will be in the office when you have questions, problems, or complaints and I will be there to work through them with you.

As Assessor I will commit myself to serving the people of Putnam County.  I will stand as a representative for them and I will not lose sight of that commitment.  I would be elected by the people and should be there to represent and serve them. You should get excellent service from all public offices.  After all, it’s your tax dollars that pay the salary of all elected officials and their employees.  I will give you at least 40 hours per week and I Promise that your tax dollars will not be wasted on my salary.  I can assist anyone with any situation concerning the Assessors office.

The Assessor’s office will not be my office; it will belong to the people and I will give you the time necessary to explain the methods and procedures that are used in the office and assist you in any way possible.

I am a regular person and I live a regular life.  I am Real.  I am one of you and as Assessor I will continue to live my life with integrity, having respect for others and never seeing myself as being better than anyone else.  Integrity means everything and without it, nothing else matters.  I want this position very much, but I will not compromise my integrity to get it.  What you see is what you get.  The way I treat you before the election is the way I will treat you after the election.  Depending on Integrity, a person’s word either means everything or it means nothing.  I stand on my word and my word means everything.

I am Knowledgeable and Experienced in the Assessors office and I know that I am not perfect but I always try to be Honest, Trustworthy, Truthful, Sincere, Dependable, Reliable, Credible, Professional, Accessible, Committed, Genuine, Authentic, and Bona Fide.

I’m just trying to be as honest as I can in telling you what you can expect from me if elected as the Assessor of property.

I have knowledge and experience in all areas of the Assessors office which makes me qualified to do the job.  I love solving problems and working with the people and I think that I would be a great benefit for anyone seeking information or assistance in the Assessors office.
